Overview

This is a combination of four radiopharmaceutical agents used in nuclear medicine and molecular imaging: - **Gallium-68 (68Ga):** A positron-emitting radionuclide commonly used for PET imaging, often as a label for peptides targeting specific receptors or antigens, such as PSMA in prostate cancer or somatostatin receptors in neuroendocrine tumors. It enables high-resolution functional imaging of various cancers and inflammatory processes[1][3][9]. - **Fluorine-18 (18F):** Another widely used positron emitter for PET imaging. It is most commonly found as [18F]-FDG (fluorodeoxyglucose) but also labels other tracers like PSMA-targeted agents and sodium fluoride for bone scans. Its longer half-life compared to gallium-68 allows broader distribution and use[4][9]. - **Technetium-99m (99mTc):** The most frequently used gamma-emitting radionuclide in SPECT imaging, applied across a wide range of diagnostic procedures including bone scans, renal function studies, cardiac perfusion, and more[5][8]. - **P137:** Based on available data, "P137" appears to refer to a peptide or ligand that can be labeled with gallium-68 for PET imaging; specifically, "68Ga-P137" has been studied as an alternative to "68Ga-PSMA" tracers for prostate cancer detection[1]. However, there is no evidence that P137 itself is an approved standalone radiopharmaceutical or that it is routinely combined with the other three agents into one product. Each component acts by targeting specific biological pathways or structures—such as cell surface antigens/receptors—and emitting radiation detectable by PET or SPECT scanners. These agents are primarily diagnostic tools rather than therapeutic drugs.
