Drug intelligence / Profile preview
68Ga-3BP-3940 is a gallium-68-labeled peptide radiopharmaceutical developed by 3B Pharmaceuticals for the PET/CT imaging of solid tumors. The agent consists of 3BP-3940, a highly potent and selective peptide inhibitor of Fibroblast Activation Protein (FAP), conjugated to a DOTA chelator. FAP is highly expressed on cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAFs) within the tumor microenvironment of various solid malignancies. 68Ga-3BP-3940 is designed for prolonged tumor retention and serves as a companion diagnostic to identify patients suitable for FAP-targeted radioligand therapy, such as 177Lu-FO-004.
