It consists of a ligand (A9-0922) targeting **integrin alpha-v beta-6 (αvβ6)**, which is chelated with the positron-emitting radioisotope **Gallium-68 (68Ga)** for use in Positron Emission Tomography (PET). Integrin αvβ6 is a cell surface receptor that is significantly upregulated in various epithelial cancers and is associated with tumor progression and poor prognosis, while remaining largely absent in healthy adult tissues. The agent is currently in IND-enabling studies as part of a theranostic pair, intended to identify patients suitable for targeted radioligand therapy.
