68Ga-AVA-ERL is a first-in-class small molecule radioligand targeting Ectonucleotide pyrophosphatase/phosphodiesterase 3 (ENPP3). Developed by Avammune Therapeutics, it is designed for positron emission tomography (PET) imaging of solid tumors that overexpress ENPP3, such as hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and renal cell carcinoma (RCC). The molecule consists of an ENPP3-specific ligand conjugated to a DOTA chelator and radiolabeled with Gallium-68 (68Ga). Preclinical studies have demonstrated efficient target engagement, high tumor uptake, and a favorable biodistribution profile, suggesting its potential as a diagnostic tool and a foundation for the development of ENPP3-targeted radioligand therapeutics.
