Drug intelligence / Profile preview
68Ga-BMV101 is a cysteine-cathepsin-targeted dual optical/PET probe used for monitoring inflammatory macrophages in fibrotic disease. It was developed for non-invasive imaging of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) and has been studied in both preclinical models and human clinical trials. The probe uses gallium-68 as its radionuclide, which has a short half-life of 68 minutes, requiring imaging within the first few hours of administration.
