Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**68Ga-DOTA-CCK-FS** is an investigational gallium-68 PET radiopharmaceutical designed to image tumors expressing the cholecystokinin-2 receptor. The tracer combines the positron-emitting radionuclide gallium-68 with a DOTA-chelated CCK-2 receptor-targeting peptide ligand, enabling PET/CT visualization of receptor-positive lesions. It is being evaluated in a recruiting clinical imaging study for medullary thyroid carcinoma and other cholecystokinin-2 receptor-positive malignancies, with comparison against standard PET tracers including fluorodeoxyglucose or gallium-68 DOTATATE.
