Overview
**68Ga-DOTA-D-Alanine-BoroPro** is an experimental **gallium-68-labeled fibroblast activation protein imaging radiopharmaceutical** developed as a PET tracer for visualization of **fibroblast activation protein** expression in malignant and non-malignant tissues. It is a DOTA-conjugated derivative of D-Alanine-BoroPro, a boronic acid-based FAP inhibitor scaffold, radiolabeled with gallium-68 for positron emission tomography. Preclinical work and first-in-human imaging reported specific recognition of FAP, rapid renal clearance, and imaging activity in glioblastoma, breast cancer, prostate cancer, and myocardial infarction, supporting its development as a targeted molecular imaging agent rather than a therapeutic drug.
