Drug intelligence / Profile preview
68Ga-DOTA-ECL1i is a gallium-68 radiolabeled peptide-based positron emission tomography (PET) imaging tracer. It consists of the extracellular loop 1 inverso (ECL1i) peptide, a 7-D-amino acid allosteric antagonist of C-C chemokine receptor type 2 (CCR2), conjugated to the chelator DOTA and radiolabeled with gallium-68. The tracer is designed to non-invasively detect and track the recruitment of CCR2-expressing inflammatory monocytes and macrophages in vivo. It is primarily being investigated for molecular imaging in myelofibrosis, myocardial infarction, and other inflammatory or fibrotic conditions.
