Drug intelligence / Profile preview
68Ga-DOTA-R01-MG (also referred to as [68Ga]Ga-DOTA-R01-MG) is a radiolabeled cystine knot peptide (knottin) PET imaging tracer designed to target integrin αvβ6. Integrin αvβ6 is an epithelial-specific cell surface receptor that is highly upregulated in various cancers (such as non-small cell lung cancer, pancreatic cancer, and cervical cancer) and in fibrotic diseases (such as idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis/MASH). The tracer consists of the engineered R01-MG peptide conjugated to the chelator DOTA and radiolabeled with gallium-68 (68Ga). It is used as a diagnostic PET tracer to noninvasively assess integrin αvβ6 expression, monitor the progression of liver fibrosis, and detect αvβ6-positive tumors.
