Drug intelligence / Profile preview
68Ga-DOTA-TMVP1 is a radiopharmaceutical PET imaging agent designed for the noninvasive visualization of vascular endothelial growth factor receptor-3 (VEGFR-3) expression, particularly in tumor periphery and lymph nodes associated with tumor-induced lymphangiogenesis. The compound consists of the TMVP1 peptide—a 5-amino acid sequence (LARGR) that specifically binds VEGFR-3—conjugated to DOTA and labeled with gallium-68. Preclinical and early clinical studies have demonstrated its favorable pharmacokinetics, rapid renal clearance, safety profile, and effective localization of recurrent ovarian and cervical cancer lesions. Its diagnostic value in these cancers has been shown to be comparable to that of 18F-FDG PET/CT[1][5].
