68Ga-EV203 is an investigational radiopharmaceutical PET tracer developed for the imaging of CD138-positive hematologic malignancies. It consists of the humanized monoclonal antibody EV203, which specifically targets Syndecan-1 (CD138), conjugated to the positron-emitting isotope Gallium-68 (68Ga). CD138 is a cell surface proteoglycan that is highly and consistently expressed on malignant plasma cells in multiple myeloma, as well as in certain cases of non-Hodgkin lymphoma and acute myeloid leukemia. By binding to CD138, 68Ga-EV203 allows for the non-invasive visualization and quantification of tumor burden and CD138 expression levels using PET/CT imaging. This tracer is primarily being evaluated for its safety, biodistribution, and diagnostic performance in patients with multiple myeloma and other CD138-expressing hematologic cancers to aid in staging and treatment planning.
