Drug intelligence / Profile preview
68Ga-FAP-VG-02 is a Gallium-68 labeled diagnostic radiopharmaceutical developed by VitsGen Therapeutics. It is designed as a radionuclide drug conjugate (RDC) that targets fibroblast activation protein (FAP), an enzyme highly expressed on the surface of cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAFs) within the tumor microenvironment of various solid tumors. By binding to FAP, the Gallium-68 isotope allows for high-sensitivity positron emission tomography (PET) imaging, enabling the visualization and localization of FAP-expressing tumors. This diagnostic tool is intended to assist in cancer staging, patient selection for FAP-targeted therapies, and monitoring treatment response. The agent is currently in the preclinical stage of development.
