68Ga-FAPI-JNU is a novel radiopharmaceutical tracer designed for positron emission tomography (PET) imaging. It targets the fibroblast activation protein (FAP), which is highly expressed in cancer-associated fibroblasts within the tumor microenvironment of various malignancies. By binding to FAP, 68Ga-FAPI-JNU enables high-contrast visualization of primary and metastatic tumors, as well as assessment of biological distribution in normal tissues. This agent is part of a broader class of Gallium-68-labeled FAP inhibitors (FAPIs), which are being developed for improved cancer diagnosis and staging due to their specificity and favorable tumor-to-background imaging characteristics[2][3][5].
