Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**68Ga-folate-KR** is a heterodimeric PET radiotracer developed for dual-receptor imaging in cancer, specifically designed to target both **folate receptor α (FRα)** and **human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2)**. This compound is labeled with gallium-68 and consists of a folate moiety and a HER2-targeting KR peptide, connected via a linker that allows simultaneous binding to both receptors. In vitro and in vivo studies demonstrated that 68Ga-folate-KR binds specifically to FRα and HER2, showing enhanced tumor uptake and improved tumor-to-background contrast compared to monomeric tracers. It is intended for non-invasive PET detection and characterization of tumors (such as ovarian cancer) that overexpress either or both FRα and HER2.
