Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**68Ga-Glu-urea-Lys-HBED-CC-AlexaFluor488** is a preclinical dual-modality prostate-specific membrane antigen-targeted imaging probe derived from the PSMA-11 scaffold. It combines a gallium-68 PET radiolabel with the Alexa Fluor 488 fluorescent dye, enabling preoperative PET localization and potential intraoperative fluorescence visualization of PSMA-expressing prostate cancer tissue. The Glu-urea-Lys pharmacophore binds and is internalized through PSMA, while HBED-CC chelates gallium-68. In mouse tumor models, the probe showed PSMA-specific tumor uptake comparable to 68Ga-PSMA-11; its reported evaluation was preclinical.
