68Ga-Mirc415 is a radiopharmaceutical diagnostic agent consisting of a nanobody (single-domain antibody fragment) labeled with the positron-emitting radionuclide gallium-68. It targets programmed death ligand 2 (PD-L2), an immunoinhibitory molecule expressed in various tumors and immune cells. The agent is designed for use in positron emission tomography (PET) imaging to visualize PD-L2 expression, which may have applications in oncology, particularly for patient selection and monitoring response to immunotherapies targeting the PD-1/PD-L1/PD-L2 axis. As of recent reports, it has been evaluated in phase I clinical trials for its diagnostic potential[3].
