68Ga-NODAGA-RGD is a radiopharmaceutical used as a positron emission tomography (PET) imaging agent. It consists of a cyclic RGD peptide conjugated to the chelator NODAGA and labeled with the radioisotope gallium-68. The compound specifically targets the αvβ3 integrin, a cell surface receptor that is upregulated during angiogenesis and inflammation. By binding to αvβ3 integrin, 68Ga-NODAGA-RGD enables non-invasive imaging of processes such as tumor angiogenesis and inflammatory lesions in vivo using PET scans.
