68Ga-NODAGA-THERANOST is a radiolabeled peptidomimetic that acts as an αvβ3 integrin antagonist. It is the first compound of its kind to reach clinical development for targeting integrin receptors, specifically for imaging tumor angiogenesis using positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT). The drug demonstrates high specificity and sensitivity in detecting tumors and metastatic sites, with rapid blood clearance, stability, and rapid renal excretion.
