**68Ga-NOTA-Evans Blue** is a diagnostic radiopharmaceutical agent used primarily for positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) imaging of the lymphatic system. It consists of Evans blue dye conjugated to the chelator NOTA, which is then labeled with the radioisotope gallium-68. After administration, it binds to serum albumin in vivo, forming a complex that remains largely within the blood pool and lymphatic vessels. This property enables high-quality imaging of blood and lymphatic circulation and related disorders. The agent has been investigated for its ability to diagnose and evaluate various lymphatic disorders such as lymphedema, lymphangioma, and particularly for differentiating hepatic hemangiomas from other liver lesions. Its mechanism relies on albumin binding by Evans blue, facilitating visualization of vascular or lymphatic abnormalities via PET/CT[1][4][6]. The drug was developed by researchers at the National Institute For Biomedical Imaging And Bioengineering (NIBIB), with clinical studies also involving Peking Union Medical College Hospital[1].
