Drug intelligence / Profile preview
68Ga-NOTA-ROR1-2-L1 is a novel peptide-based positron emission tomography (PET) radiotracer designed for the non-invasive, quantitative assessment of receptor tyrosine kinase-like orphan receptor 1 (ROR1) expression. Developed by researchers at Huazhong University of Science and Technology and Zhejiang University, the tracer consists of a ROR1-targeting peptide (ROR1-2-L1) conjugated to the chelator NOTA and labeled with the positron-emitting radionuclide gallium-68 (68Ga). ROR1 is highly expressed in various malignancies, including melanoma, chronic lymphocytic leukemia, lung adenocarcinoma, and breast cancer, while being nearly absent in normal adult tissues. In preclinical melanoma models, 68Ga-NOTA-ROR1-2-L1 demonstrated high radiochemical purity, rapid tumor accumulation, and excellent tumor-to-muscle contrast, making it a promising diagnostic tool for patient stratification and monitoring therapeutic efficacy in ROR1-targeted therapies.
