Overview

68Ga-NY108 is a gallium-68 labeled radiopharmaceutical imaging agent developed by the Affiliated Hospital of Jiangnan University for the detection and staging of prostate cancer. The agent consists of NY108, a monoclonal antibody targeting the prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA), which is highly expressed on the surface of prostate cancer cells. When labeled with the positron-emitting isotope gallium-68, it allows for high-resolution PET/CT imaging to identify PSMA-positive lesions. This diagnostic tool is often used in a theranostic approach to select patients for radioligand therapy with the lutetium-177 labeled counterpart, 177Lu-NY108.
