Both agents target the same molecular marker but may have slightly different pharmacokinetics or availability. Mechanistically, both are small-molecule ligands that bind specifically and with high affinity to the extracellular domain of human PSMA; after intravenous administration, they accumulate in tissues expressing high levels of this antigen and are visualized by PET due to their positron-emitting radioisotope (^68Gallium)[1][5].
