Drug intelligence / Profile preview
68Ga-PSMA-914 (also known as 68Ga-Glu-urea-Lys-(HE)3-HBED-CC-IRDye800CW) is a novel, prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA)-targeting hybrid peptidomimetic molecule designed for dual-modality imaging. It combines a radioactive label (Gallium-68) for preoperative positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) imaging and a near-infrared fluorescent tag (IRDye800CW) for intraoperative fluorescence-guided surgery. This dual-modality approach allows for precise preoperative localization of prostate cancer and real-time, high-contrast intraoperative visualization of primary tumors and lymph node metastases, facilitating complete surgical resection while sparing healthy tissue.
