Drug intelligence / Profile preview
68Ga-PSMA-VG-01 is a Gallium-68 labeled radionuclide drug conjugate (RDC) developed by VitsGen Therapeutics for the diagnostic imaging of prostate cancer. It specifically targets the prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA), a protein highly expressed on the surface of prostate cancer cells. By binding to PSMA, the Gallium-68 isotope allows for high-sensitivity positron emission tomography (PET) imaging, enabling the detection and localization of primary and metastatic prostate cancer lesions. The program is currently in the preclinical stage, with an Investigational New Drug (IND) filing targeted for late 2024.
