Drug intelligence / Profile preview
68Ga-SFB6-ZN01 is a novel radiopharmaceutical PET imaging agent developed by Zhongnan Hospital for the detection and staging of malignant solid tumors. It consists of the positron-emitting isotope Gallium-68 (68Ga) conjugated to a ligand (SFB6-ZN01) that specifically targets integrin αvβ6. Integrin αvβ6 is a cell surface protein that is highly expressed in various cancers—including pancreatic, lung, and breast cancers—but is rarely found in normal adult tissues, making it an effective biomarker for diagnostic imaging. The agent is administered via a single intravenous bolus injection, followed by PET/CT scanning to visualize tumor lesions and assess disease extent based on the uptake of the tracer.
