Drug intelligence / Profile preview
68Ga-TRD4425 is a gallium-68 labeled radiopharmaceutical designed for positron emission tomography (PET) imaging of solid tumors expressing the gastrin-releasing peptide receptor (GRPR). Developed by the Guangdong Second Provincial General Hospital, it serves as a diagnostic companion to the therapeutic agent 177Lu-TRD4425 in a theranostic approach. GRPR is frequently overexpressed in various cancers, including estrogen receptor-positive breast cancer and hormone-sensitive prostate cancer. The tracer allows for the non-invasive assessment of GRPR expression, biodistribution, and lesion detection, facilitating patient selection for GRPR-targeted radioligand therapy.
