68Ga-Triveoctin is a gallium-68-labeled cyclic RGD octapeptide trimer developed by TRIMT GmbH as a PET imaging radiopharmaceutical. It specifically targets αvβ8-integrin, a key activator of transforming growth factor β (TGF-β). αvβ8-integrin is implicated in various pathogenic processes, including tumor growth, invasion, metastasis, and epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT). The tracer consists of a trimeric conjugate of the cyclic peptide cyclo(GLRGDLp(NMe)K) assembled on a TRAP (triazacyclononane-triphosphinate) chelator scaffold using click chemistry. It is currently in Phase 1 clinical development for imaging cancer progression and other conditions associated with TGF-β dysregulation.
