68Ga-TROP2-01 is a radiopharmaceutical diagnostic tracer developed by Fudan University for positron emission tomography (PET) imaging. It consists of a TROP2-targeting nanobody (specifically Nb107) labeled with the positron-emitting radioisotope Gallium-68 (68Ga). TROP2 (Trophoblast cell-surface antigen 2) is a transmembrane glycoprotein overexpressed in various epithelial tumors, including breast cancer. The tracer is used to non-invasively assess TROP2 expression levels in vivo, which can help predict the efficacy of TROP2-targeted therapies, such as antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) like sacituzumab govitecan or datopotamab deruxtecan. In clinical trials at Fudan University, it is being evaluated alongside 18F-FDG PET/CT to select patients and monitor responses in advanced HER2-negative breast cancer.
