68Ga-TTP is an investigational radiopharmaceutical developed by the Peking University Cancer Hospital & Institute for the molecular imaging of Trophoblast cell-surface antigen 2 (TROP2) using positron emission tomography (PET). It consists of the positron-emitting isotope Gallium-68 (68Ga) conjugated to a TROP2-targeting peptide (TTP). TROP2 is a transmembrane glycoprotein that is highly expressed in various epithelial malignancies, including breast cancer, and serves as a therapeutic target for antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs). The primary clinical application of 68Ga-TTP PET/CT is to noninvasively assess and quantify TROP2 expression in tumor lesions, thereby assisting in the selection of patients likely to benefit from TROP2-targeted therapies and providing a means to monitor the efficacy of such treatments.
