Drug intelligence / Profile preview
68Ga-XHER2 is a novel gallium-68 (68Ga) radiolabeled positron emission tomography (PET) imaging tracer designed for the noninvasive assessment of human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2) expression in solid tumors. Developed by the First Affiliated Hospital of Xiamen University, the radiotracer binds specifically to HER2-expressing cancer cells, allowing for the quantification of HER2 expression levels via PET/CT imaging. This noninvasive approach aims to evaluate HER2 status across various solid tumors to guide targeted therapies, such as anti-HER2 monoclonal antibodies or antibody-drug conjugates, without the need for repeated invasive biopsies.
