Overview
**68Ga-XT771** is a novel radiopharmaceutical imaging agent labeled with the radionuclide gallium-68 (^68Ga), developed for use in positron emission tomography (PET) imaging. It specifically targets **carbonic anhydrase IX (CAIX)** and **carbonic anhydrase XII (CAXII)** proteins, which are highly expressed in certain tumors, notably **glioblastoma** and **clear cell renal cell carcinoma**. By binding to these proteins, 68Ga-XT771 enables the visualization of tumor cells in vivo using PET/CT imaging.
