6Aβ15-AHc-C is an investigational recombinant active immunotherapy for **Alzheimer's disease**. It comprises six tandem copies of the amyloid-beta 1-15 B-cell epitope fused to the C-terminal receptor-binding subdomain of botulinum neurotoxin A heavy chain as a carrier protein. The vaccine is intended to induce a Th2-skewed anti-amyloid-beta antibody response, including antibodies recognizing neurotoxic amyloid-beta 42 oligomers, while avoiding amyloid-beta-specific T-cell activation. It was evaluated preclinically in Alzheimer's disease mouse models as part of a series of 6Aβ15 toxin-carrier chimeric vaccines that reduced amyloid pathology and improved behavioral outcomes.
