Overview

6B11-OCIK is an investigational adoptive cell therapy designed for the treatment of platinum-resistant recurrent or refractory ovarian cancer. The therapy involves autologous T cells that are induced by a humanized anti-idiotypic antibody (the 6B11 minibody), combined with dendritic cells and cytokines to enhance immune activation. The process aims to generate a population of activated cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTLs) and cytokine-induced killer (CIK) cells capable of targeting and killing ovarian cancer cells. Preliminary clinical studies have shown that 6B11-OCIK is safe, well-tolerated, and may have potential efficacy in patients with drug-resistant ovarian cancer, as evidenced by immune response markers and tumor cell killing efficiency[1][2][8]. The therapy is currently being evaluated in phase I clinical trials[3][4][5].
