Overview

6B7 is a murine IgG1, κ monoclonal antibody that specifically targets the canine CD22 (CD22c) antigen. It was developed as part of a panel of seven antibodies (including 2D1, 5A3, 1E3, 10C6, 5C2, and 5F8) intended for the diagnosis and treatment of spontaneous diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) in dogs. 6B7 recognizes an epitope on CD22c that is shared or overlaps with epitopes recognized by clones 1E3 and 5F8. In characterization studies, 6B7 demonstrated a high affinity for CD22c with a dissociation constant (Kd) of 2.23E-10 M. However, it showed limited internalization at non-saturating concentrations and was found to be inefficient for immunohistochemistry (IHC) on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue sections. While it was evaluated in biodistribution studies using mouse xenograft models of canine DLBCL, it was not selected as the lead candidate for clinical imaging or radioimmunotherapy, with clone 10C6 being preferred for those applications.
