Overview

6MW5311 is an innovative bispecific T-cell engager (TCE) antibody developed by Mabwell for the treatment of hematologic malignancies, including acute myeloid leukemia (AML), chronic myelomonocytic leukemia (CMML), and multiple myeloma (MM). It features a "2+1" asymmetric molecular structure designed to simultaneously target Leukocyte Immunoglobulin-Like Receptor B4 (LILRB4) on tumor cells and the CD3 receptor on T cells. By bridging these cells, 6MW5311 facilitates the formation of an immunological synapse, leading to the activation of T cells and the subsequent lysis of LILRB4-expressing tumor cells. As of early 2024, it is the first LILRB4/CD3 TCE bispecific antibody to have an Investigational New Drug (IND) application accepted by the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) in China.
