7×19-THEMIS CAR-T cells are an investigational, autologous chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy being developed by the Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine. This therapy is specifically designed for the treatment of relapsed or refractory large B-cell lymphoma (LBCL). The "7×19" designation refers to the co-expression of Interleukin-7 (IL-7) and the chemokine CCL19, a strategy intended to enhance the survival, expansion, and infiltration of CAR-T cells into tumor tissues by mimicking the microenvironment of secondary lymphoid organs. The "THEMIS" component likely refers to a specific signaling modification or platform used to promote a memory-enhanced T-cell phenotype, which is associated with improved clinical persistence and anti-tumor efficacy. The therapy is currently being evaluated in Phase Ib/II clinical trials to assess its safety and efficacy compared to historical controls.
