7MW4911 is a novel antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) developed by Mabwell that targets cadherin 17 (CDH17), a membrane protein highly expressed in gastrointestinal cancers such as colorectal, gastric, and pancreatic cancers. The ADC consists of a proprietary anti-CDH17 monoclonal antibody, a cleavable linker, and an innovative cytotoxic payload called Mtoxin™, all under full intellectual property ownership by Mabwell. Preclinical studies have demonstrated that 7MW4911 exhibits strong binding to CDH17-positive tumor cells, efficient internalization, potent cytotoxicity in vitro, and robust antitumor activity in both cell-derived xenograft (CDX) and patient-derived xenograft (PDX) models. It has shown superior efficacy over MMAE-based ADCs in multidrug resistance models. Pharmacokinetic and safety studies in non-human primates indicate a favorable safety profile with a high non-severely toxic dose (HNSTD). An IND submission to the NMPA and FDA for clinical trials targeting advanced solid tumors—particularly digestive tract tumors—is planned for the second half of 2025[2][3][5][6][8].
