Overview

806TCR is an autologous T-cell receptor (TCR) engineered T-cell therapy being developed by T-Cure Bioscience for the treatment of solid tumors expressing the cancer-testis antigen NY-ESO-1. The therapy involves the genetic modification of a patient's own T cells to express a high-avidity TCR identified through the proprietary iSORT platform. This TCR is restricted to the HLA-A2 haplotype and specifically recognizes NY-ESO-1-derived peptides presented on the surface of tumor cells. Upon recognition, the engineered T cells mediate targeted cytotoxic activity against the cancer cells. 806TCR is currently in the IND-enabling stage of development, targeting multiple solid tumor types where NY-ESO-1 expression is prevalent.
