Drug intelligence / Profile preview
89Zr-13A7Ab is a zirconium-89 (89Zr) radiolabeled monoclonal antibody developed by researchers at Michigan State University. It consists of the novel monoclonal antibody 13A7, which targets carbohydrate antigen 19-9 (CA19-9, also known as sialyl Lewis A), conjugated to the positron-emitting radioisotope zirconium-89. CA19-9 is a tumor-associated carbohydrate antigen that is highly overexpressed in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) and other malignancies. 89Zr-13A7Ab is utilized as a diagnostic positron emission tomography (PET) imaging tracer to visualize and evaluate CA19-9 expression, tumor accumulation, and pharmacokinetics in pancreatic cancer models, serving as a companion diagnostic or imaging probe for CA19-9-targeted therapies.
