Drug intelligence / Profile preview
89Zr-anti-CD4 is a preclinical zirconium-89 (89Zr)-labeled immuno-positron emission tomography (immunoPET) imaging tracer designed for the non-invasive, in vivo assessment of CD4+ T cells. The tracer is typically prepared by conjugating an anti-CD4 monoclonal antibody (such as the murine clone GK1.5) or its engineered fragments (such as cys-diabodies) with a chelator like deferoxamine (DFO) and radiolabeling it with zirconium-89. It is utilized in preclinical research to visualize and quantify CD4+ T cell infiltration and density in tumors or inflammatory tissues (such as in colitis models) and to evaluate immune responses during immunotherapy, such as PD-L1 checkpoint blockade.
