Drug intelligence / Profile preview
89Zr-Df-huB12 is a zirconium-89 labeled humanized monoclonal antibody targeting fibroblast activation protein alpha (FAPα). It is developed as an immunoPET imaging agent to detect and monitor active fibrosis in diseases such as fibrotic interstitial lung disease (f-ILD) and radiation-induced pulmonary fibrosis (RIPF). The agent consists of the humanized anti-FAPα IgG antibody, huB12, conjugated to the chelator deferoxamine (Df) and radiolabeled with zirconium-89 (89Zr). By binding specifically to FAPα expressed on activated fibroblasts, 89Zr-Df-huB12 allows for non-invasive visualization and quantification of active fibrotic progression via PET/CT imaging.
