89Zr-DFO-anti-Ly6G is an experimental positron emission tomography (PET) imaging agent consisting of a monoclonal antibody against murine lymphocyte antigen 6G (Ly6G), a neutrophil surface marker, conjugated to the bifunctional chelator desferrioxamine (DFO) and radiolabeled with zirconium-89. By binding selectively to Ly6G on neutrophils and related Ly6G-expressing myeloid populations, the radiolabeled antibody enables noninvasive in vivo visualization and quantification of neutrophilic inflammation and myeloid cell trafficking using immuno-PET. This construct is used preclinically as a research tool to study neutrophil biology, inflammatory responses, and disease models characterized by Ly6G-positive cell infiltration, rather than as a therapeutic drug.
