Drug intelligence / Profile preview
89Zr-DFO-B7-H3 is a target-specific radiopharmaceutical and immuno-positron emission tomography (immuno-PET) imaging tracer. It consists of a monoclonal antibody targeting B7-H3 (CD276), conjugated to the chelator desferrioxamine (DFO) and radiolabeled with the positron-emitting radionuclide zirconium-89 (89Zr). B7-H3 is an immune checkpoint protein overexpressed in various solid tumors, including gliomas and melanoma, while showing limited expression in healthy tissues. 89Zr-DFO-B7-H3 is utilized in preclinical and clinical research to noninvasively quantify B7-H3 expression levels, select patients for B7-H3-targeted therapies (such as CAR-T cell therapy or antibody-drug conjugates), and monitor antigen modulation or escape during treatment.
