Drug intelligence / Profile preview
89Zr-DFO-B7-H4-Ab is a zirconium-89-labeled monoclonal antibody conjugate developed for positron emission tomography (PET) imaging of B7-H4-expressing solid tumors. It consists of a mouse anti-human B7-H4 monoclonal antibody conjugated to the chelator deferoxamine (DFO) and radiolabeled with the positron emitter zirconium-89 (89Zr). B7-H4 (VTCN1) is an immune checkpoint protein overexpressed in various epithelial malignancies, including breast and ovarian cancers, while showing minimal expression in normal tissues. In preclinical studies, 89Zr-DFO-B7-H4-Ab PET imaging demonstrated high and specific tumor uptake, enabling quantitative, non-invasive visualization of B7-H4 expression levels to facilitate patient selection and treatment monitoring for B7-H4-targeted therapies.
