89Zr-DFO-MSTP2109A is a radiolabeled humanized IgG1 monoclonal antibody targeting the Six Transmembrane Epithelial Antigen of the Prostate 1 (STEAP1), a cell surface protein highly expressed in prostate cancer, particularly metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC). The antibody (MSTP2109A) is conjugated with desferrioxamine (DFO), which chelates the positron-emitting radioisotope zirconium-89 (^89Zr^). This radioimmunoconjugate enables PET imaging to detect and localize STEAP1-expressing tumors. Developed as a diagnostic agent, it has demonstrated favorable biodistribution, high tumor uptake, and safety in Phase 1/2 clinical trials for mCRPC. The agent is being explored as a companion diagnostic for STEAP1-targeted therapies[1][3][5][6].
