Overview

89Zr-DFO-REGN3767 is a radiolabeled monoclonal antibody-based imaging agent used for positron emission tomography (PET) imaging. It consists of REGN3767 (fianlimab), a human monoclonal antibody targeting lymphocyte activation gene-3 protein (LAG3), conjugated to the chelator desferrioxamine (DFO) and labeled with the radioisotope zirconium-89 (^89Zr). The drug enables non-invasive PET imaging to detect LAG3-expressing tumors, providing information on biodistribution and target engagement in patients with cancer, particularly those with relapsed or refractory diffuse large B-cell lymphoma and advanced solid tumors. Its mechanism of action is based on specific binding to LAG3 expressed on tumor-infiltrating immune cells, allowing visualization of immune checkpoint expression in vivo[2][3][4][9].
