Drug intelligence / Profile preview
89Zr-hCD103 antibody is a zirconium-89 (89Zr) radiolabeled monoclonal antibody targeting human CD103 (integrin alpha-E). It is being developed as an immuno-positron emission tomography (immuno-PET) imaging tracer to non-invasively assess and monitor tumor-reactive T-cell infiltration in solid tumors. CD103 is specifically expressed on the surface of cancer-reactive tissue-resident memory T cells (TRM), which significantly increase during successful immunotherapy. By targeting CD103, this radiopharmaceutical allows for real-time, non-invasive, whole-body visualization of T-cell dynamics, serving as a potential biomarker to stratify patients and predict responses to immune checkpoint inhibition therapy. The antibody was developed through a collaborative effort involving the University of Groningen, University Medical Center Groningen, Aduro Biotech, and Immios.
