Drug intelligence / Profile preview
8B4 CAR-T is a novel chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy, inferred from the provided context to be a nanobody-based therapy targeting CD70, developed for the potential treatment of renal cell carcinoma (RCC). This therapy is designed to utilize T-cells engineered to express VHH sequences derived from novel nanobodies from immunized alpacas, enabling them to specifically recognize and eliminate CD70-positive tumor cells. Preclinical studies have shown that these CAR-T cells effectively eliminate CD70-positive tumor cells, enhance cytokine production (IL-2, IFN-γ, TNF-ɑ), and exhibit remarkable anti-tumor activity in xenograft mouse models, leading to tumor eradication and robust, long-lasting anti-tumor responses.
