Drug intelligence / Profile preview
8MW2311 is a polyethylene glycol (PEG)-conjugated recombinant human interleukin-2 (IL-2) immunoagonist developed for the treatment of advanced malignant tumors. The drug is designed to stimulate the phosphorylation of downstream transcription factor STAT5 and promote proliferation of CD8+ killer T lymphocytes, thereby enhancing antitumor immune responses. Preclinical studies have shown that it preferentially accumulates in tumor tissue and selectively activates CD8+ T cells, resulting in sustained antitumor effects. It has also demonstrated synergistic efficacy when combined with immune checkpoint inhibitors such as anti-PD-1 antibodies[1][2]. Clinical development has focused on patients with locally advanced or metastatic solid tumors[3][5].
