**90Y-labeled Ser-PLL** is an investigational kidney-targeted radiopharmaceutical drug designed for the treatment of **renal cell carcinoma (RCC)**. It consists of a biodegradable carrier, **L-serine-modified poly-L-lysine (Ser-PLL)**, labeled with the beta-emitting radioisotope **Yttrium-90 (^90Y)** via DTPA chelation. When injected intravenously, the compound selectively accumulates in the renal cortex, particularly in the proximal tubules, which are commonly associated with RCC pathogenesis. The targeted delivery allows for localized radiation therapy, suppressing renal tumor growth while mitigating off-target toxicity and nephrotoxicity. Ser-PLL degrades rapidly and is biocompatible. Preclinical studies have shown significant tumor suppression in murine RCC models, with limited renal toxicity and minimal systemic side effects[1].
